Keywords and auto-replies
People text a keyword to your number and join a group automatically, with an auto-reply confirming it and the consent recorded. Unlimited keywords, no extra cost.
A keyword is a word people text to your number to join a group automatically, with an auto-reply confirming they are subscribed and recording their consent.
It is the cleanest way to build a list, because the person does the subscribing themselves. There is no form to transcribe, no clipboard to type up later, and no argument afterwards about whether they agreed.
What it looks like in practice
You pick a word: JOIN, DEALS, ALERTS, the name of your business. You put it somewhere people already look: a table tent, a poster, a receipt, the bottom of a flyer, a slide at the end of a service.
Someone texts that word to your number. They are added to the group you attached to the keyword, and they immediately get your auto-reply: who you are, what they have signed up for, roughly how often you send, and how to stop.
Why the auto-reply is not optional
That confirmation message is doing compliance work. It establishes what the person agreed to and gives them the opt-out instruction at the moment they are paying attention. Sending it is expected practice, and a keyword flow without one is the kind of thing that gets raised when a number is reviewed.
Unlimited keywords and groups
Different keywords can feed different groups, so a restaurant can run LUNCH and EVENTS separately, and a school can run one per grade. There is no cap and no per-keyword charge.
Opt-outs are handled automatically. See how opting out works. A person who texts STOP is removed without you doing anything.
