Two-way texting

Recipients reply to your messages and those replies land in a shared inbox your team can see and answer. Included on every account, no extra fee.

Two-way texting means recipients can reply to your messages, and those replies arrive in a shared inbox rather than disappearing into a no-reply void.

That sounds obvious until you notice how much bulk SMS is sent from numbers that cannot receive anything. A customer who replies “do you have this in a medium?” to a no-reply shortcode gets silence, and concludes the business is not really reachable.

How it works here

Every account includes a dedicated phone number. When you send from it, the recipient’s phone shows a real number they can reply to, exactly as they would reply to a person. Replies land in the inbox, threaded per contact, with the message that prompted them visible above.

Anyone on your team can open a conversation and answer it. There is no per-seat charge: sub-accounts are included, so the front desk, the manager and the owner can all work from the same inbox instead of one person forwarding screenshots.

Notifications

You can be notified of new replies by email and by SMS, and you can forward replies to a personal phone if you would rather not watch a dashboard.

Why it matters beyond convenience

Carriers assess how people respond to your traffic. A number that only ever broadcasts, and never receives, looks different from a number holding conversations. Two-way traffic is part of what keeps delivery healthy. See message delivery.

Replies cost nothing to receive. You pay for the messages you send.
